Block Color: MAC Coppering

Hey everyone!

So here is a look I did using ONLY MAC Coppering as an eyeshadow all over. I really love the colour and it's so unique, so I decided I would try and really make it stand out (instead of just blending it in with other colors like I usually do). This look was so simple/fast to do, and I felt like it just really made my eyes glow. I think that this is an eyeshadow that would look beautiful on other colored eyes (most especially blue eyes). I was worried about how it would look but I think it turned out to be pretty flattering! I saw a Youtube tutorial where Pixi2woo paired Coppering with Creme Cup lipstick so I thought I would try that at first. My sister said it looked really horrible and "too clashy," so I switched it up with just a nude lip. I kind of liked it with the soft pink lip though... What do you think? I'm not entirely sure, I don't really think the two lip colors look that different from each other... I like both... Anyways I hope you like it!

EYES:
Urban Decay primer potion
MAC Coppering [lid, crease, lower lash line]
Aveda kohl pencil [waterlines, smudged on upper lash line]
Covergirl mascara
Vanilla [inner tear duct]
CHEEKS:
MAC Peachykeen blush
MAC Shell Pearl beauty powder
LIPS:
MAC Creme Cup lipstick (pink lip)
Buxom Big and Healthy lipstick in Sydney (Nude lip)
MAC kissable lipcolor in Woo Me [on top]

Here it is with the soft pink lip:

...And with the nude lip:

I was very proud of my color coordinating because my shirt was bright orange and blue, and I had orange on my eyes, block blue nailpolish, and I wore blue heels and a blue purse too. So I wanted to show my shirt. Don't mind the pose, I was listening to Rick Ross, haha.

Do you have Coppering eyeshadow or something similar? How do you like to wear it?

2 Everyday Color Looks

Hey everyone!
So I know these 2 looks aren't that special, but I decided to share them anyways. These were looks I've worn during the "daytime" or just out with friends, but I wanted some colour that wasn't too overpowering and that was still fresh. The first one I wore a soft green all over the lid blended out with some brown, and liner on the top only. The second one was a neutral look using the Urban Decay NAKED palette, and I added the aqua liquid liner on top and bottom lashes for some color. I think trying one of these ways is a nice way to wear color throughout the day or even for university. I hope you like them!

*Also, I love using the Kiehl's mineral mascara for everyday wear. I've noticed I barely lose any lashes when I take it off. It feels really light and gives the lashes a natural, defined look without being clumpy. I save Covergirl Lash Blash mascara and others for when I really want the lashes to look defined and heavier.

Products used in look below:
Smashbox Zoom e/s [lid]
MAC Soft Brown e/s [crease]
MAC Brown Script e/s [to deepen crease a bit]
Urban Decay Perversion liquid liner
Kiehl's Mineral Mascara
NARS Deep Throat blush
Nivea lip balm

Products used in look below:
Urban Decay Naked palette [Sidecar, Toasted, Hustle from inner lid to outer lid]
Makeup Forever Aqua Liquid liner no. 4 [upper liner, smudged on lower lash line]
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Flash [lower waterline]
Kiehl's mascara
NARS Deep Throat blush
MAC Ample Pink lip gloss

How would you wear colour in an everyday look?

Bronze Eyes/Red Lips

Hey everyone!
So here is a bronze look with red lips that I did the other night. J and I were on our way to meet people who turned out to be complete asswipes in the end, but that's a long story and beside the point. I really love pin-up makeup but sometimes I feel like it doesn't give me the definition or drama that I'd like so I made it a bit more dramatic for night time. I used bronze/brown eyeshadows, and added black kohl in the waterline to define the eye more.

Also, this look was done using the same first 3 eyeshadows I ever bought and wore! They were used on my at my grade 12 graduation and it was the first time I wore makeup ever! =)

(the above picture I took on my phone, it shows the full face better, before I got sweaty ha ha)

EYES

MAC Woodwinked e/s [lid]
MAC Mulch e/s [corner/crease]

Aveda black kohl liner [waterline - surprisingly this stuff is really good, my pencil is almost done!]

Covergirl Lash Blast mascara

CHEEKS
MAC Coppertone blush mixed with NARS Deep Throat
Barry M Natural Dazzle bronzer [contouring]
MAC Shell Pearl beauty powder [highlight]

Do you like to wear red lipstick? How do you wear it?
